00 The idea
Estella is a 20 × 45 × 15 cm wooden dachshund, designed and built during Guggenheim Abu Dhabi's Contemporary Makers woodworking program. Inspired by my love for wiener dogs, she's an art toy that doubles as a living-room piece: five dowel joints let her change poses, and she comes apart for easy storage.
